The staggering rise of Billie Eilish from underdog to superstar has been well-documented. From her Vanity Fair interviews to flying up the bill on festival stages, the entire world has watched Billie grow up.

The Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury is the biggest stage in the world. With that comes a responsibility. It’s a career-defining, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an artist to seize their moment. Over the years, the Glastonbury headline slot has held a mirror to the world, reflecting the things going on around us.

During her debut on The Other Stage in 2019, Billie taught us how to make a moment count. ‘Happier Than Ever’ is a collection of songs written for her generation. More importantly, for the girls of her generation.

Emily Eavis said: “We couldn’t be happier to announce that the wondrous Billie Eilish is headlining the Pyramid on the Friday at next year’s Glastonbury Festival, becoming the youngest solo headliner in our history. This feels like the perfect way for us to return and I cannot wait!”

Glastonbury Festival 2022 will take place at Worthy Farm in Somerset, UK from Wednesday 22 – Sunday 26 June.

Billie will headline on Friday 24 June. Tickets are sold out.
